On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a strong warning to Pakistan, vowing dire consequences if another terror attack occurs in India. Speaking at the Adampur air base in Punjab, Modi asserted, "India stands for peace, but if attacked, it will make the enemy pay the price."
Modi made it clear that any hostile action from Pakistan would lead to a decisive response from India. "The masters of terror now know that looking towards India leads to one inevitable outcome — destruction and total annihilation," he said.
Further emphasising India's preparedness, Modi stressed the importance of vigilance, declaring, "We have already taught them a lesson. The Indian Armed Forces have crushed the Pakistani military and sent a clear message that there is no safe haven for terrorists in Pakistan." Referring to India’s military might, he added, “We will strike back. ‘Hum Ghar Mein Ghus Ke Marenge.’”
During his visit to the air base, Modi also paid tribute to the armed forces, highlighting their commitment to the nation. "‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ is not just a slogan, but a solemn pledge made by our soldiers, who dedicate their lives to protect India. When our forces launch strikes, our enemies hear the power of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai,'” he said.
The Prime Minister's remarks come after recent tensions with Pakistan following India's strikes on terror sites under Operation Sindoor on May 7.
